Day 9 - (08/18) Clifton, CO

We had a casual start today. It included breakfast with Stu at the Sundance Café across from Eldora ski slopes.
We then drove 240 miles to Clifton, CO. We’re at RV Ranch of Clifton a few miles east of Grand Junction. The park is the best we’ve been in (except for the Horowitz RV Resort in Nederland).
Trip Highlights
The drive down Glenwood Canyon on I-70W was breathtaking. Canyon walls towered above us on both sides and the White River flowed below.

New Food Group Discovery
We stopped in Eagle, CO and discovered a new treat … Beaver Droppings. Despite the name, they really are quite good. They are chocolate, toffee peanuts. Unfortunately, there won’t be any to share by the time we get home.
